Talk show host Larry King is the latest celebrity to be accused of sexual misconduct.
Ex-wife of singer Eddie Fisher, Terry Richard, 64, recounted two incidents where the award-winning television host allegedly touched her inappropriately.
“Larry King is a groper. He groped me twice. He gets a thrill doing this in front of the camera, knowing I couldn’t do anything,” Richard said during a phone interview with the U.K. Daily Mail.
The first incident allegedly occurred in 2005 when Richard met King, now 84, at a baseball awards dinner at Universal Studios in Los Angeles where Richard was working the red carpet. Richard said King slid his hand inside her backless dress and put his hand on her butt as they posed for a photo together.
“Larry put his hand behind me on my back and as the photographer was taking our picture Larry slid his hand down from the middle of my back to putting his hand inside of my dress and it ended up with about three or four of his fingers in the crack of my a**, resting in the crack of my a**,” she said, adding that he left his hand there for about 10 seconds.
That is disgusting, but it’s becoming very apparent that some Hollywood bigwigsenjoy doing disgusting things to unsuspecting women.
Richard said she was so stunned, she didn’t know what to do.
“My reaction was to slap him in his face but he was the guest speaker. It was awful,” Richard recalled.
The second time Richard met King was about a year later. Again, when posing for a photo, King squeezed Richard’s rear end so hard that it left a bruise.
“I thought since I wasn’t wearing a backless dress this time I didn’t think it was going to happen again so I posed with him for another picture … I thought, surely, he’s not going to do anything this time, and the old dog did,” she said.
“What really got me was — I’m a wife, my child was at the event, I’m working and I was over 50. So, there’s no age limit,” she said of King.
Apparently, there is also no limit to what some creeps will do.
King’s lawyer told the Mail that Richard’s assertion is false, adding that the talk show host did no such thing “then or ever.” According to People, King’s attorney released a statement and also said King “flatly and unequivocally denies these claims and intends to file suit and prove that they’re utterly false.”
King is the latest well-known figure to be accused of sexual impropriety since the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal began.
At this point, there is no way to know how this will end for Tinseltown, but one thing seems almost certain — Hollywood is not the bastion of liberal values that it claims to be.
Sadly, it looks to be the other way around: Hollywood is crawling with perverted vermin.
